The combined BS/MS Biotechnology degree program is one of a kind! It has allowed me to complete countless hours of hands-on experience in the lab working under experts in their field and alongside driven students. The course curriculum prepares students for applications in many topics and exposes us to a wide range of career opportunities. This program truly prepares students for a successful life in the workforce. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the combined B.S./M.S. biotechnology degree. The classes have equipped me to handle real world assignments with internships at two pharmaceutical companies, conducting lab-based research, and learning how to properly synthesize academic literature. Additionally, the research I conduct for the thesis requirement of my degree gives me the opportunity to apply what I am learning in my classes to a project that can advance my field of interest. —Bobby Walker
