Research Labs are required to provide the ingredients and supplies, while the Media Lab orders all the ingredients and supplies for the Undergraduate Lab classes.

The Media Lab stores the prepared media in the walk-in cold room (BB 461) where the requester can pick up the order. Research labs are notified when their orders have been completed and are ready for pick up. Requests for the Undergrad Lab classes can expect to have their orders ready by the due date, so they are not notified when their orders are complete.

Media can typically be provided within 2-3 business days for Research Labs and 1-2 weeks for the Undergrad Labs, depending on the size of the order and how many orders have been placed from other undergraduate classes.
